Now that is a slap in the face. That has to be the biggest upset in college football history.

According to ESPN, this is the first time in history that a 1-a team defeated a ranked 1-aa team. The big house fell very quiet yesterday. The Mountaineers were ready. This scheduling may come back to haunt Lloyd Carr. They expected to come in and get an easy opener. I suppose they forgot about App. St.'s consecutive national titles and returning 13 starters. These guys were prepared for this game. I love it. Big Grin

I think you meant first time a 1-aa defeated a ranked 1-a team.

ESPN reports that he had late scholarship offers from Vandy, memphis and clemson, but he chose to honor his earlier commitment to app st.
