He agreed with the universities decision, probably the same deal Bowden got at Clemson. He says he will not return next year.He accepted a football related position at the school, my guess is he'll still be a recruiter.

Yeah, he took it pretty hard. I can see letting Bowden go, but Fulmer had a national championship, 3 sec titles and about 7 division titles not to mention a 151 and 51 record.

The sad thing is that it's all about money, the boosters and so forth. No matter how good you are, a couple of off seasons can send you packing if the boosters see fit.
