Padgett improved on his 60m invitational performance from a year ago, but could not beat LSU's two-sport star, Trindon Holliday. The diminutive sprinter posted a 6.60 to win the sprint, while Padgett was relegated to third place with a time of 6.68 seconds. C.J. Spiller (6.76) was sixth in the event.

That was a lucky day for Spiller lol, but when it came down to head to head comp against the best, he got smoked. Razzer

And that time wont equate to a track title. Cool

you don't think his 6.58 came against head to head competition? not a smart statement there slick. plus..do you know of any track stars who never lost? yeah didn't think so. either way, still has the fastest time in the world this year. till that's topped, not much you can say.

Actually that wasnt a smart statement because his time is not tops in the world, but did a good job at running a fast time early in the indoor season. Lets wait until they have the nationl 60m race to settle who's the fastest for 60m.

i stand corrected. at the time he ran it, it was, but yes it has been topped. however, like i did point out, the time that won the meet you are referring to still isn't faster and even the best get beat from time to time. but, like you said..the nationals is where you put up or shut up. should be one hell of a show-down lol.

Still living through OTHERS to make yourself feel better. Have a beer or 16 and search for some more material, maybe that will make your sorry life worth living.

Who cares if CJ ever wins another race? What the heck is the point of this thread? CJ is faster than 99% of the humans to ever walk this earth, yet the drunk and his sidekick have the nerve to try and put him down because someone who runs track for a team in the same conference as the team they pull for beat him in ONE freaking race........SAD!

Are you implying that he is not fast now? Seriously.....what in the heck is your point?

His main point in life is to waste oxygen that the rest of us could use to do some good. It must suck to have to live your life through others since your team can't get it done. He's used to it though, I'm sure.

Guys...he is just doing what others have done. I find it very hypocritical that CU fans can post ALL TYPES OF NEGATIVE STUFF about USC and yet get upset when it is done back to them. Roll Eyes

who cares if he gets beat in track... he is a beast in football. I bet if you put pads and helment on all the track guys that have beat spiller he would smoke them. Tj ford, eddie royal, and spiller are by far some of the fastest in college football when it comes to running in pads.

What does my post count have to do with anything? It does say I get into a lot of conversations. Common sense. You should try it sometime.

Coot logic at its finest. Attacking someone about posting on a message board by posting on said message board. BRILLIANT!
