Former South Carolina running back Derek Watson is in the Greenville County Detention Center charged with first degree burglary and grand larceny, according to information posted on the Detention Center's web site.
Watson was arrested Monday by the Greenville County Sherrif's Department and is being held on $5,000 bond.
No other details regarding the arrest were available on the web site.

Do they allow that on work release??

What a waste of talent. Just 2 years ago he was on the Cowboys practice squad and Parcells said he liked him and wanted him to progress some so they could sign him to a full-time contract. I guess that was tooooooo much for his limited intellect to handle, since he was dropped after the season. Had heard nothing from him till this. Maybe orange was his best color afterall...
