USC Coach Dave Odom needs to go. He has lost touch with the players and is bringing the program down more with each passing game. The game seems to have passed him by.

That has been discussed for the last two years but nothing has happened.

One big upset win and he'll probably get another extension.

IF they do let him go I hope the powers that be and fans will give the new coach a chance to recruit some players before they condemn him for not winning with the ones Odom recruited.

ESPN is reporting that Odom will retire at the end of this season. Ideas for his replacement? A couple come to mind; Cremins & Lavin.

Cremins might could do it but he has burned his bridge to come back to USC in my opinion.

USC needs to go after a younger energetic coach that is willing to take the time to make a difference in the program.

I agree; and I hope so to, but unfortunately since we are in this win now or you need to be gone sports soceity, some fans won't use common sense.
