Congrats CJ. You da man.
Put a football and a uniform in his hand and let a defender run at him and he'll cut that time by half trying to get to the sideline.
That's funny, I seem to remember him running past chicken defenders in Death Valley like the were standing absolutely still.
Did Spiller and his east-west running style help the tiggers win in Death Valley?
Didn't win that game but he did keep us in that game almost single handedly. You can't argue that but being what you are I imagine you will try though.

Yeah he "isn't good enough" to line up at RB. He only has nearly 2000 yards in 2 seasons. Brought home the ACC Freshman of The Year in his first season. The kid will do anything you ask of him, just give him the ball. I have seen numerous games where he can turn the tide and outcome of the game in the blink of an eye.

To be technical, Proctor played well by only missing on 6 of his 19 passes. The balance of sCUm offense kept them in the game

And CJ Spiller's 150 yard, 2 TD effort might have had something to do with it. You guys are blinded by your bias. There isn't a team in the country that wouldn't want Spiller linng up in their backfield. He'd be a full-time starter at just about every college in the nation, except for Southern Cal or maybe LSU last year, only because those schools have stables.

Like I said before, the balance of their offense kept them in the game. BIf said CJ "almost single handedly" kept them in the game, which was only possible because of the run game.

Nah, anywhere else...the fifth or sixth time he ran out of bounds he would be off the field. No doubt in my mind. He's an east and west runner. College coaches AND ESPECIALLY the NFL wanted North South guys only...he'd get on the field for the first few games because of his playmaking but after he runs out of bounds consistently like he does...he wouldn't see much playing time.

It takes more than one person to put together a Championship. Answer me this, if the ACC is a "cupcake conference", why didn't USuCk win more than ONE title in their time there and how come they can't compete with Clemson?

Why don't we do this. You let your coach run his team the way he wishes,ie: ,recruiting less than spectacular characteristic athletes and losing 5 games in a row in a downward spiral and we will let our coach do what he does. Easy enough?

come on now BIF, you KNOW that is toooooo easy haha. its all about waiting till next year when the great one will have all his own players and beat every team in the nation..except Clemson and Vandy of course!
We will let your coach do what he does, recruit top 10 talent every year, ranked among the best in the nation in some category, but get beat by maryland and bc or some lesser known opponent to ruin your chances of a title.

I guess carolina wanted a challenge instead of playing in a cupcake conference. Let Clemsux make a transfer to the real confrence "SEC" and see how the can compete with the top teams in the nation.... This past year when we played clemsux we were missing all of our playmakers on defense and we played with a very young team. I can't wait to see spiller "the east and west runner" try to turn a corner on jasper brinkley...

honestly..if USC beat Clemson more than once every 5 years, your statement would be more believable. no matter what the case, Clemson comes out as the winner more times than not. you can say this conference is this or this conference is that. ACC has had its fair share national championships. The best conference in the nation always seems to roll between the SEC and ACC for years at a time. The fact is, the record between Clemson and USC has nothing to do with who plays in what conference but rather who wins and who doesn't.
